Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12x4) 48 hours per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend REQ: Every other weekend. 20-26 weekend shifts per 13-week contract
Requirements:
- IL License
- 2 years of experience
- ACLS, BCLS, NIH
- First-timers accepted
- Charting: EPIC
- Experience working on cardiac, MS/Tele, and stepdown units

Is on-call REQ? No.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No.
Locals accepted: No, local radius is 70 miles.
Pending License accepted: No, license needs to be in hand.
RTO Restrictions: 2 requests per contract
Guaranteed Hours: If confirmed to 5x8s/4x10s, SSM will guarantee a minimum of 40hrs/week. If confirmed to 3x12s, SSM will guarantee a minimum of 36 hrs/week. If confirmed to 4x12s, SSM will guarantee a minimum of 48hrs/week. Call off: SSM may call off up to 24hrs for travelers confirmed to 8hr shifts, 30 hours for 10hr shifts, or 36hrs for 12hr shifts per 13-week assignment without paying for cancelled hours. If candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called-off, those hours will count as a called-off hours.
Special Requirements: Experience working on cardiac, MS/Tele, and stepdown units.
Additional Information: This is a fast-paced unit with a lot of patient turnover. The teamwork that is present on the unit is top notch and noticed by many nurses that float into the department. Patient diagnoses can include COPD, CHF, A fib with RVR, Mild renal failure, Sepsis, chronic vents, Chest pain R/O MI, Overdose/ ETOH withdraw, Covid, pleural effusion.
