As a Behavior Technician you would be responsible of training direct staff to implement behavior strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors. Behavior Technicians effectively interacts with staff, families, consumers and/or any other representative in the process of planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation of service for client.

Job Requirements, Skills, Knowledge:
- Must Possess RBT Certificate (Registered Behavior Technician)
- Must be able to pass and maintain a clear background check through the Department of Justice, in compliance of Title 17 and program design regulations.
- Previous experience in ABA (preferred)
- Experience in the field or working with individuals with developmental disabilities with behavioral challenges.
- Organized, good attention to detail, and excellent time management
- Ability to communicate with diverse audiences
- Legal and Reliable transportation to drive on company time for company business.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must comply & be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Ensure protection of proprietary company and confidential client/consumer information.
- Assist with training of all assigned staff in behavior management strategies.
- Participate in the development of behavior snapshots, behavior intervention plans, and/or FBAs.
- Model appropriate behavior strategies.
- Assessment of the functions of maladaptive behavior & provide consultation to support staff and supervisors.
- Model appropriate behavior strategies at all times & conduct behavior competencies on direct service staff
- Demonstrate effective rapport building skills.
