RECRUITER – Healthcare or School exp req’d

East Setauket, NY. Since 1988 Alternatives for Children, a not-for-profit private school, has been at the forefront in providing educational experiences to a broad spectrum of children from across Long Island, offering special education and daycare programs for 3-5 year olds.

Alternatives for Children currently has a full-time opportunity for a dynamic Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition/Human Resources Team to source, attract and interview prospective employees for our 4 locations.

We require:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years’ recruitment/talent acquisition experience in a school or healthcare environment
• Proven experience with heavy volume recruiting and interviewing techniques
• Experience recruiting for healthcare professionals and Certified Teachers
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and practice essential.
• Experience with ADP Applicant Tracking System a strong plus
• Experience working with all levels of management
• Certificate in HR a plus.
