Receptionist and Customer Service Representative
Job description
Would you love to help families in our community do the right thing for the people they love? Have you worked as a receptionist, customer service, bookkeeper, or social media administrator? Are you self-motivated, easy to get along with, and detail-oriented? If so, you might be the key team member we are seeking.
We’re a family-oriented Libertyville-based law firm with a mission to improve the lives of professionals, business owners, and their families. We are seeking a part-time Receptionist with outstanding communication, planning, and organizational skills to handle all aspects of administration and basic bookkeeping. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. The Receptionist will also monitor and oversee computer and office equipment, support social media and marketing efforts, and handle day-to-day workflow and deadlines. A successful candidate should have over five years of customer service and receptionist experience and have some basic understanding of accounting principles and computerized accounting software.
This is a part-time position with a lot of room to grow, as we are just in the process of establishing our systems. We will need you to take the lead on implementation and execution on our behalf, using the technology and training we’ve invested in to support you.
Beautiful office, wonderful and supportive work environment, competitive salary based on experience. We are open during typical business hours, and you will be expected to work in our Libertyville office.
You must be “tech-savvy” and able to handle working with several different databases of information, basic social media participation, and know basic bookkeeping principles.
We are a small team, which means you will need to figure some things out on your own and be able to creatively problem-solve to create more efficiency in the delivery of our service.
Compensation will include base pay + bonuses based on reaching the overall goals of the practice. We will be transparent about the firm’s goals and how you will contribute to the firm meeting those goals.
If you would love to grow with us for the long-term, and you are able to support us to serve our clients as THE go-to lawyers for business and estate planning legal work for licensed professionals, business owners, and their families in our community, please apply as follows:
- Send us your resume and a cover letter that clearly conveys WHY you would be a great fit for our team with details about your past experience working directly with clients, working within various technology platforms, and how working with our office fits into your long-term career plans.
- Please include your base salary requirements as we work together to hit our goals.
Note: if you know your Kolbe, Human Design, Enneagram Type, DISC, Gallup StrengthsFinder, or any similar “work style” types, please include that information in your letter.
- Ideally, 3-5 years of customer service, receptionist, social media, or bookkeeping experience.
