Position Summary:
The Rebate Analyst, processes commercial rebate claims in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rebate contract and internal processing procedures for all Teva products. The Rebate Analyst will process and validate all assigned rebates, analyze and resolve rebate differences, review and maintain all customer contract terms and conditions and uphold a superior level of customer service. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Returns & Rebate Support.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for pulling together the rebate and admin payment support for the review and verification by the Manager for approval. Include detailed backup supporting the calculation in addition to summaries.
- Analyze rebate variances and determine cause(s) of any differences and provide solutions, working closely with internal teams as necessary.
- Calculate and process assigned Purchased Based Rebates, Differential Rebates, and other rebates processed in the Model N Flex system and/or manually.
- Validate and accurately process Failure to Supply claims. Work with internal teams to provide detailed support for disputes. Work with the Data Analytics team on continued implementation of the FTS Tool.
- Provide support for internal and external audits in regards to rebate processing.
- Calculate monthly/quarterly rebate claims accurately and timely, provide monthly accrual needs to Revenue Management teams.
- Responsible for ensuring payments are submitted and made timely to assist in providing accurate weekly rebate payment forecasts to Treasury in order to maximize Teva's cash flow.
- Review and maintain the log for customer contract terms and conditions (draft and final versions). Analyze contract terms by collaborating with the Contracts Department prior to execution. Ensure that all changes and new rebates are set-up accurately in Model N Flex and are properly accrued for Revenue Management.
- Analyze customer deductions to determine if valid and work closely with A/R to resolve while also looking for trends.
- Work with IT to develop any resources to further create efficiency as needed.
The IDEAL candidate must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance
- Detailed oriented, organized and deadline sensitive
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with internal departments in order to implement solutions
- Strongly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, demonstrating strong knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookups and working with large amounts of data
