Job Responsibilities/Duties
The Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible for providing quality assurance/control engineering services in support of Tank Operations Contract (TOC) activities. The QA Engineer must possess and apply comprehensive QA knowledge to the completion of significant assignments.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Use mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and other advanced analytical techniques to examine quality processes.

• Collaborate with other quality assurance organizations to understand their needs and challenges and develop and implement solutions to meet these needs.

• Analyze data to identify trends and patterns and use this information to inform decision making.

• Plan, schedule, and participate/lead QA program audits, surveillances and assessments in support of assessment and corrective action programs.

• Write reports and present findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Continuously improve analytical skills through ongoing learning and development.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Grade 20
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Science or related field and Ten (10) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Grade 21
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Science or related field and Twelve (12) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a field such as operations research, mathematics, analytics, or a related field

• Experience with mathematical modeling and statistical analysis

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R

Compensation & Benefits
Grade 20:
Hiring Range Minimum: $122,813
Hiring Range Maximum: $154,838

Grade 21:
Hiring Range Minimum: $135,188
Hiring Range Maximum: $170,463

In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, WRPS takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made within the targeted hiring range posted. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
