ABOUT THE ROLE //
The Purchasing & Logistics Assistant will support the Merchandise Planning and Logistics team for Rip Curl North America (USA + Canada). The position will be responsible for, but not limited to, purchase order entry, logistics and shipping coordination with suppliers and freight forwarders, working with 3PL warehouse staff to facilitate and schedule inbound deliveries.
In addition, this role will execute PO delivery tracking, maintain timely email communication with Rip Curl Global purchasing team for purchase order shipping and follow-up,ensure purchase order pricing and packing details are accurate, and any other purchasing related duties to support the team.
Finally, this role will look to support several key growth initiatives forKMD Brands NA- the recent launch of RipCurl.ca, the expanded major account base in Canada, as well as the Kathmandhu US launch.
