Project Management Lead - College of the Holy Cross
Job description
Reporting to the Director of Strategy Planning and Operations, the Lead Project Management Analyst is responsible for managing multiple large-scale information technology projects through the project lifecycle, as well as setting the standards by which the project management team will carry out their work and function. This position will review and evaluate progress, and make appropriate recommendations, to ensure project completion within estimated timeline and budget. Major upcoming projects include adoption of an enterprise CRM, potential migration to a new ERP platform, modernization of building access, and more.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Define, document, and deploy the standards and processes by which technology projects will be managed.
- Manage assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
- Develop, maintain, and revise proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
- Set and track project milestones; adjust schedules as appropriate when unforeseen delays arise.
- Working alongside Relationship Managers, measure and manage stakeholder expectations for project timelines and deliverables.
- Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts with third parties and hold external parties involved in College projects accountable for achieving agreed upon project implementation goals.
- Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
- Keep up with the latest in effective project management techniques and standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, or relevant field and at least 5 years of relevant experience
- PMP certification
- Must have a proven record of managing multiple technology projects
- Must have a proven record of managing large scale technology projects
- Strong organizational skills, and experience with project management tools (Kanban software, sprint tracking tools, etc.)
- Strong communication, team building, and collaboration skills required.
- Higher education experience is preferred

Additional Information:
This is a full-time, exempt level position with a salary range of $92,500 - $100,100. The College is committed to providing competitive market pay for its employees. The College also offers a competitive benefits package for full-time staff, including:
