Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Project Engineer to work on the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) THAAD program in Arlington, TX.

Coordinate program operation activities based on direction of Program Management; monitor program performance, analyze and update monthly manpower, review contractual documentation, track monthly assessments, coordinate earned value meetings with Finance department, initiate and distribute program directives, coordinate Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) with Finance, Planning and Contracts departments.

Job Duties:

Program Directives - Process Program Directives for program management.
Forecast Analysis – Assist Program Management with Finance Data.
Workload – Help the team identify challenges for future growth in manpower, tooling, supplier support, etc
CDRL and Manpower Reporting – Assist with CDRL delivery to ensure no delinquent deliveries. Manpower analysis to ensure budgets and headcount are aligned. Help facilitate meetings and ensure reporting and accurate data for the teams
Action Item Reporting – manage database and help with reminders
Strategic Review Reporting – Ensure PMs goals are tracked and worked.
Charts - Support high level Meetings – Set-up prep meetings, help with formatting and consistency, record action items.
Proposals - Support BOE consolidation. Help proposal manager with tasks – meetings, timelines, actions, etc.

Additional responsibilities include: participating in system design meetings, program engineering reviews and change board meetings.

There may be some travel.

The Locale: Arlington is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Arlington is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Ability to work multiple projects and issues simultaneously from inception to completion.
  • Ability to interface and work well with multiple functional areas (i.e. sourcing, receiving, shipping, engineering, quality, contracts, program office and external customers)
  • Excellent organizational, research and problem solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel
Desired Skills:
  • Active secret security clearance
  • Experience with IAMD THAAD program
  • Familiar with missile systems
  • Experience working and knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, Statement of Work, Deliverables, etc.
  • Contracts and Finance knowledge/familiarity and/or degree
  • Technical degree
  • Military experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
