Summary
The TOS Program Manager (PM) will serve as a primary point of contact for large, named clientele with a focus on Cross-SERVE initiatives, in direct support of the customer(s) lead relationship manager. The PM will be responsible for working closely with the client to coordinate and manage the Cook and Boardman group companies’ comprehensive service offerings across and between the businesses. On larger multi-site projects, the Program Manager will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of all quotes and services within the parameters of customer expectations.
Essential Functions
- Work with large and strategic clients to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands;
- Conduct onsite meetings, project walk-throughs and online presentations to the client that showcase the services and products of the company and define Cook and Boardman’s deliverables in clear terms.
- Work with management teams across the CBG businesses to develop design build coordinated quotes based on project estimates;
- Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations;
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the system platforms of preferred customer vendors
- Maintain application skills across Division 8 and Division 28 systems offerings on behalf of the client.
- Programming, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of these systems at customer locations and remotely, documenting service performed and test results;
- Generation of technical Scopes of Work (SOW), bill of materials (BOMs) and detailed design narratives for engineered Cross-SERVE solutions and associated cost estimates as may be required.
- Manage engineering and estimation process to include interfacing with multiple representatives of sales, marketing, management, vendor and customer teams;
- Analyze blueprints, construction drawings and technical/functional design specifications to prepare compliant engineered solutions and associated cost estimates;
- Perform needs analysis meetings and job site walks with customers;
- TOS solutions applications advisor and product advocate during the engineering, design and implementation processes;
- Interface with product and distribution partners to obtain systems, device and equipment pricing during engineering process;
- Participate active engagement with customers and product partners;
- Maintain quality assurance by following organization standards;
- Effectively apply project methodology to include planning, organizing, monitoring, managing budget, project closure activities and enforcing best practices;
- Engage inter-divisional CBG project teams and technicians to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and with the utmost quality;
- Remove, resolve or escalate roadblocks for customers and team members in a timely manner;
- Identify and manage project risks to ensure that timeliness, cost and quality are enforced;
- Facilitate project meetings internally effectively and ensure that the team is focused on continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- At least 5 years of experience in similar position
- Current and valid US driver’s license preferred
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Possess comprehensive understanding of opening solutions and security technologies.
- Preparation of timely and accurate engineered solutions across the businesses for total opening solutions; including but not limited to Division 8 coordination, and Division 28 access control, CCTV/IP video surveillance, intrusion detection, identity management, electronic locking hardware, biometrics and associated infrastructure.
- Manage engineering and estimation process across the CBG businesses to include interfacing with multiple representatives of sales, operations, marketing, management, vendor and customer teams.
- Responsible for coordinating the associated cost estimate for mid-level, large and complex integrated security projects.
- Analyze blueprints, construction drawings and technical/functional design specifications to coordinate and prepare compliant engineered solutions and associated cost estimates.
- Perform needs analysis meetings and job site walks with customers and the sales team.
- Research emerging technologies and train internal and customer teams on new offerings/solutions.
- Develop engineered solutions that map customer business requirements related to opening solutions.

- Interface with inter-company and external partners to obtain systems, device and equipment pricing during engineering process.
- Support the customer and the sales teams by participating in solutions iscussions and meetings with customers and product partners.
- Support the customer and the sales teams in activities and solutions presentations in front of named customers and prospects.
- Maintain quality assurance by following organization standards.
- Organize solution reviews and internal collaboration meetings as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and see. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Frequent lifting required of items 5-25 pounds, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Work Environment
This job operates in both a professional office and warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May occasionally require driving to project sites. Conditions will include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware. Subject to frequent heavy lifting. May be exposed to variable weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
