To help fuel the continued growth of the company we are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor. If selected for the position, you will be ultimately responsible for managing the department and ensuring that all production and quality metrics are achieved. You will also need to ensure that the main production line is stocked with the necessary inventory.

We expect you to have the deep know-how in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement concepts, and experience in high speed production. In order to apply for this position we require all candidates to have at least 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience and experience in industrial manufacturing. Good communication skills and an ability to thrive in a high-paced environment will be critical to your success.

This position is a member of the mid level management team. We employ about 250 team members at its 300,000 sq. ft. facility in Florence, Alabama.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with employees and production manager to formulate objectives and put corrective action plans in place
• Report directly to production manager
• Schedule department production in order to fulfill production needs
• Hire and train new employees as well as existing employees
• Organize workstation workflow to ensure quality and throughput are within expectations
• Monitor department production to resolve issues
• Run all department machinery and have a strong working knowledge of all equipment
• Ensure output meets quality standards
• Enforce health and safety precautions

Skills:

• Proven experience as production supervisor
• Deep knowledge of industrial manufacturing
• Skilled in Excel and proficient in all Microsoft products
• Outstanding communication ability
• Excellent organization and leadership skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.

Pay:
