Primary Function

Support the team in product development, maintenance, and testing. Execute and report on specific products while continuing overall support of the Wi-Fi platform. Interact with internal teams and vendors to make sure all products are updated and functioning correctly. May complete hands on testing spanning from water testing to website platform functionality. Create detailed reports including the use of Microsoft excel and PowerPoint to inform teams on results and findings. Attention to detail and desire to learn are a must.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the product team, test new products, and complete product design, durability, and comparative testing.
• Work with technical writer on new manuals and validation of updates.
• Perform validation tests on software processes and function. Maintain the standard process spreadsheet.
• Monitor certified builds, assist with plant audits on certified product, and assemble products for testing.
• Provide detailed reports of testing including documentation and graphing.
• Attend trainings and seminars relevant to product creation.
• Correlate product and detail with AO Smith Product Team and CTC development lab.
• Work closely with vendors to monitor development of new and existing products.
• Act as direct contact for website architects/vendors who support/design connected product.
• Work with team to improve attributes of the website experience.
• Monitor website data and functionality and report issues to vendor. Assess vendor roadmap suggestions to continue to grow platform.
• Work with Sales on advancements including Power BI Dashboards.
• Work with product team to make adjustments that developers want on product.
• Become on site expert for connected products. Assist and train tech and customer service.
• Test new valve software to streamline connection process and monitor web and app licenses.
• Investigate ways to increase scalability, stability, and functionality of website with vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required

Additional Qualifications:

• 1+ years of related work experience or training preferred, but not required
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Excel and PowerPoint
