Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepares all phases of payroll from time sheet entry to deposit preparation by processing timesheets, updating payroll records, etc.
• Answers employee questions related to payroll matters.
• Processes payroll including calculations, deposits, PTO, vacation, and sick leave accrual.
• Responsible for verifying employee data and computing wages.
• Assists with the preparation of quarterly reports and payments.
• Assists with the preparation of end of the year reports and payments.
• Prepares payroll accrual and billing information as needed by CFO for month end closing.
• Proofreads records or forms. Sorts and maintains payroll records in file room.
• Maintains ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
• Possesses outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One (1) year related payroll experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, preferred.

• Beginning hourly rate is between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour.
