Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepares all phases of payroll from time sheet entry to deposit preparation by processing timesheets, updating payroll records, etc.
- Answers employee questions related to payroll matters.
- Processes payroll including calculations, deposits, PTO, vacation, and sick leave accrual.
- Responsible for verifying employee data and computing wages.
- Assists with the preparation of quarterly reports and payments.
- Assists with the preparation of end of the year reports and payments.
- Prepares payroll accrual and billing information as needed by CFO for month end closing.
- Proofreads records or forms. Sorts and maintains payroll records in file room.
- Maintains ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Possesses outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One (1) year related payroll experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, preferred.
Additional Information
- Beginning hourly rate is between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour.
