Payroll Administrator summary

We are looking for a Payroll Processor/Administrator to join our Snelling Payroll Services team with responsibility for processing client payrolls. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the accounting processes to include payroll, general ledger, accounts receivable and payable. Must be very detailed, organized, self-starter that is a creative problem solver with excellent written and verbal skills who enjoys client contact in a fast-paced and fun environment. Payroll Administrator responsibilities

• Process, maintain, and submit payroll required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
• Processes wage garnishments and child support payments
• Respond to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks.
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from clients.
• Maintain all supporting documents.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.
• Send Direct Deposit information to the bank.
• Issue EOY Reports, W-2's and 1099's.
• Pay and report all payroll taxes.

Payroll Administrator qualifications/required skills

• Proven experience as payroll specialist or strong accounts payable or accounts receivable experience
• Experience with various proprietary business applications as well as Office 365 products
• Team player
• Detail-oriented and conscientious with excellent documentation and communication skills
