Beechwood Sales and Service, a beer and beverage distributor, has an exciting career opportunity in our Operations Department. We are looking to hire an Operations Supervisor to oversee the warehouse and delivery operations on site at the Menomonie, WI location.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervision of all assigned Delivery personnel
• Oversees daily dispatch of vehicles, drivers and supplemental point of sale materials.
• Ensures effective communication and coordination between the Delivery and Sales departments in Menomonie and with the Warehouse department at Beechwood’s New Berlin location.
• Successfully manages all operations related to the use of hand-held Delivery devices (IPhones and printers) for all delivery personnel; including paper invoicing as needed.
• Responsible for ensuring completion of driver training and safety related initiatives
• Identifies and coordinates facility maintenance.
• Ensures Fleet Vehicles maintain operational readiness by coordinating the maintenance and repair vehicles and equipment.
• Conducts proper scheduling to ensure all delivery routes are adequately covered.
• Responsible for covering store merchandising when necessary under the direction of the Market Manager.
• Manages Point of Sale Materials (POS) including tap handles, signage, etc.
• Distribution of POS materials on transfer mornings to their assigned routes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Supply Chain related major
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in wholesale delivery and/or warehouse operations
• Knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office
• Superior organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines

CRITICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment including, but not limited to: Delivery Vehicles, pallet jack, & hand truck
• Climbing stairs and inclined surfaces on an occasional basis
• Walking on hard surfaces on a frequent basis
• Two handed lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height on an occasional basis
• Loading of 150-170 pound kegs into cooler and special events caddies using assigned handling equipment
