Job Description


Children’s Therapy Center is seeking a center-based Occupational Therapist to join our growing team! Our Occupational Therapist will join our center-based team serving children from ages 3 to 18, in our Kent and Burien Washington site locations. Our preferred candidate is experienced, with training in sensory processing, play-based therapy, feeding, and/or NDT. (S)he will have a strong passion for helping children with special needs, and their families reach their full potential.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations using formal and informal assessment tools
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate goals
  • Maintain timely treatment records and progress reports
  • Consistently assess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Provide parent training and support as an integral part of the therapy program
  • Order orthotics, assistive devices, and/or adaptive equipment as necessary
  • Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary and collaborative team

Qualifications


Demonstrable experience and other qualifications:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
  • Dedicated to quality, with a willingness to learn and share
  • Experience working with children with developmental delay or disability preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Must have or obtain a OT license in the State of Washington
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications and a valid Driver's License and/or reliable transportation

Work Location & Schedule:

This position is scheduled to work across Children’s Therapy Center's Burien and Kent clinic site locations. The position is available full time 40 hour per week; candidates available for part-time hours are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Benefits:

Children’s Therapy Center offers equitable and competitive pay commensurate with job-related experience and education. The pay rate range for this position is $35.98-$53.51 per hour dependent on related experience and education.

Our comprehensive benefits package includes generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and continuing education benefits. Supplemental/premium insurance options are also available. Eligible employees can enroll in our retirement plan with their first paycheck and will be eligible for company contributions after their first year of employment.
