Talis Healthcare is quickly growing and looking to hire a full time Registered Nurse Manager for our infusion suites throughout Delaware. The Nurse Manager is responsible for all of the nursing operations including staffing, scheduling patients, clinical care and quality assurance for all of our Delaware Suites. Talis has suites in Dover, Glasgow, New Castle, Newark and Pike Creek. New Castle is the main suite in Delaware and would be the primary location for this position. The Nurse Manager would need to have flexibility to travel within the state of Delaware and spend time in all of our Delaware suites.

The Nurse Manager will also supervise all clinical nurses and support staff who cover the Delaware infusion suites. Collaboration with all members of the team including the Talis Healthcare Infusion Suite Nurse Practitioner and BioTek reMEDys Clinical Pharmacists is a must. Talis Healthcare’s culture is detail, patient and team oriented. The Nurse Manager will be expected to build loyalty and commitment among the staff to provide the best care possible to our patients.

We treat patients with a variety of autoimmune disorders and other rare diseases. The Nurse Manager will lead, inspire and motivate the nursing team while working together to deliver high quality patient care in accordance with established rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards of practice.

Our nursing team is expected to provide nursing care within the scope of practice as defined by the Delaware state statutes and Talis Healthcare bylaws. Candidate will perform health assessments/examinations, administer infusion treatment, respond accordingly to infusion reactions, provide patient education regarding disease state/medication, and respond to patient inquiries. It is imperative that the candidate have extensive experience with placing IVs.

Responsibilities:

· Supervisory responsibility of all infusion nurses across the Delaware infusion suites.

· Expects honest and ethical behavior of self and staff

· Provide safe, comprehensive, and compassionate clinical care including performing patient assessment, drug administration according to prescription and protocol, managing infusion reactions, and completing follow up care.

· Provide patient clinical coordination among patient, prescriber, intake team, and purchasing team.

· Collaborate and confer with Nurse Practitioner or licensed Pharmacist on staff regarding patient status, drug management issues, and/or treatment needs.

· Document all interactions and communication with patients, plan of treatment, assessment, treatments, patient responses/reactions to treatment, status of disease process and training activities in a timely manner using company issued tools.

· Provide patient education regarding disease state, medication regimen, and identification/management of infusion related symptoms.

· Train patients in the self-administration of treatments as prescribed.

· Complete training for each specialty infusion therapy.

· Facilitate new hire orientation and training new infusion nurses.

· Provide ongoing oversight of nursing staff to ensure patient care is being delivered in accordance with established rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards of practice.

· Coordinate and/or deliver ongoing education for infusion suite staff

· Collaborate with the Quality Management Committee to ensure ongoing compliance with quality improvement and quality assurance initiatives

· Maintains up-to-date skills through involvement with professional organizations or continuing education

· Willing to travel to all Delaware infusion suites including Dover, Glasgow, New Castle, Newark and Pike Creek

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills including both verbal and written communication.

· The ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary team.

· Ability to be self-directed, extremely organized and detail oriented requiring minimal supervision.

· Demonstrates expert safe and effective peripheral line placement.

· Demonstrates expert safe and effective port access.

· Draws and interprets vital signs accurately.

· Responsible for thorough electronic charting.

· General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet and email; Home internet access may be required.

· Ability to see both close up and distances while being able to change focus when necessary.

· Ability to move around freely, sit, stand, walk, move extremities, perform repetitive motions and regularly lift up to 10lbs. Ability to occasionally lift up to 30lbs.

Qualifications :

· Graduation from an accredited nursing program - BSN preferred

· Current and valid Registered Nursing license

· Management experience required

· At least two years of relevant working experience that must include at least one year as a specialized RN in infusion suite/center or home infusion environment

· Critical care experience preferred

· Current and valid Basic Life Support certification required

· Valid drivers license and evidence of auto insurance

· Meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements

Salary Range is: $90,000 - $100,000

Candidate must demonstrate competence in technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions. Wage is negotiable based on experience.
