Fluke corporation in Everett, WA, seeks a model machine shop intern to learn an contribute in the area of injection molding tooling maintenance.

In this role, you will work and learn from a team of professionals to develop the skills of a toolmaker as you interact with a wide variety of tools and processes. You will program and operate CNC, EDM, surface grinders, heat treat, weld, lathes, crane, and a variety of other tools.

Responsibilities:
Effectively collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team
Serve as a intern taking instruction from toolmakers and learning on the job.
Keep a clean safe work environment.

Machine shop technology degree or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude of how things work and go together.
Knowledge and use of measurement tools: Micrometers, Calipers, Dial indicators
interpersonal, verbal communications skills
Self-motivated team member willing to learn and support others.

Helpful Skills:
Computer aptitude for CAD/CAM, knowledge of Surfcam a plus.
Hands-on experience metal working.
Welding skills a plus.
