As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the clinic. You will support the Center Director and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Men's T Clinic is experiencing consistant growth at all locations, we are now hiring part time medical assistant for all Houston area locations (Houston, Pearland, Pasadena, Cypress and Spring). The role is consistant Friday/Saturday coverage, as well as some PRN weekday coverage with advance notice. There is potential for this to become a full-time position with benefits with a demonstrated good work performance.

Being able to commute to more than 1 location as well as work some weekdays as needed are ideal.

Weekday shifts are 7:00-4:00 or 8:00-5:00

Saturday shifts are 7:30-11:30 or 8:00-Noon

The ideal hired applicant has experience as an MA, is excellent at blood draws, injections and with patient interactions. Having 1 year of MA work experience is ideal, however not required.

Strong Phlebotomy and Injections skills are required in this role.

Responsibilities

• Document basic medical history
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Update medical records and insurance reports
• Arrange laboratory services
• Check with patients and type up patients charts
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant
• Administer IM injections
• Phlebotomy
• Assist with aesthetic procedures
• Perform EKG
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
