Job description
Suffolk County medical and industrial equipment manufacturer seeks entry-level mechanical engineer.
Well-rounded individual to handle extensive engineering documentation. BOM, ERP, work instructions, solid models, and drafting. Light part and sub-assembly design. Light machining, and extensive prototyping. Must be familiar with hand tools and their use.
Position also includes daily and extensive interaction with manufacturing personnel.
Requirements:
- Associate’s of Technology or Science
- Strong computer skills; MS Word, Excel
- CADD software (SolidWorks or equivalent)
- Machining experience highly desirable
- Minimum two (2) years technical experience
Salary: Commensurate with experience
