Marketing Events Manager

The Opportunity:
Interos is seeking a dynamic digital and off-site events professional with exceptional project management skills and an appetite to grow and support in other areas of the demand generation team. This role will be responsible for the development of the annual events plan and the coordination and execution of lead generation events including roundtables, conferences, seminars, and special events at the Interos headquarters facility, off-site at other venues, or virtually – as required. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and should understand the role of events in the wider lead generation function and awareness building. As such, the candidate should feel confident writing content for cross channel pre and post-event promotion, writing briefings for internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that the event presents the company at the highest standards, in-keeping with the Interos brand.
Essential Functions/Duties:
- Mastery of both virtual and in-person external facing events
- Develop and maintain marketing program evaluation metrics (e.g. conversion rate, cost per lead, ROI)
- Adhere to budgets and develop and maintain financial forecasts for events.
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with C-level executives and other high-level decision makers
- Creative thinking and knowledge of industry best practices for event management and marketing strategies targeted at C-level audiences
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to create compelling event materials and promotional emails, social posts and more.
- Evaluate agencies, vendors and overall market conditions to determine present and future procurement needs for events at or below estimated cost targets.
- Plan speakers, content and execute on logistics requirements related to events.
- Work with vendors to order and receive collateral, merchandise, supplies and services.
- Reconcile and prepare invoices for approval and payment.
- Project management and administrative matters such as cleaning and uploading event leads
Minimum Qualifications:
- Develop and maintain program evaluation metrics (e.g. conversion rate, cost per lead, ROI)
- Adhere to budgets and develop and maintain financial forecasts for events.
- Facilitate timely, clear, and transparent communication within the team, cross functional partners and vendors.
- Evaluate agencies, vendors and overall market conditions to determine present and future procurement needs for events at or below estimated cost targets.
- Negotiate, book and coordinate the execution of US and Canada-based conferences, seminars, and other events at headquarters, off-site or virtually.
- Plan speakers, content and logistics related to Interos -executive-level attendees
- Provide ongoing status updates to event hosts and administrative
- Work with vendors to order and receive collateral, merchandise, supplies and services.
- Reconcile and prepare invoices for approval and payment.
- Schedule and write pre and post event email communications and provide recommendations on appropriate content call to actions.
- Support Marketing team members with project management and administrative matters such as cleaning and uploading event leads
- In coordination with event hosts and administrative staff ensure all meeting details are documented and addressed including supplies and materials, meals/refreshments, A/V requirements, conference room set-up, attendance list, security requirements, and all other meeting requirements.

- Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.
- Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.
- Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
- Colorado and New York City Only: The range provided is for Colorado and New York City-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than CO and NYC may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. Pay range: $96,000 - $147,200.
