Reporting to the Marketing Project Manager, the Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing Project Manager, Associate Director Brand Management and Marketing, and other members of Getty’s marketing team. This is a great opportunity to learn about the big picture and daily activities of a modern museum’s creative services and marketing team. Learn about campaign development, online advertising, marketing metrics, community outreach, and the fundamentals of marketing a major destination.
The Marketing Coordinator performs a variety of marketing tasks to support the work of the marketing and creative services team.
- Maintains marketing and creative services production schedule and ensures all deliverables are submitted within deadline and meet Getty quality standards
- Manages specs, deadlines, routing process, and trafficking of select marketing and advertising materials
- Attends weekly agency meetings and assists in managing deadlines and project timelines for related projects
- Supports meeting planning and project workflow
- Reserves meeting spaces, books meetings
- With direction from supervisor, assists with the creation of marketing presentations and recap reports
- Provides support and coordinates logistics at community events, influencer events, and onsite photo/film shoots
- Updates CMS-based website pages
- In coordination with community manager, monitors social media ad comments
- Maintains files of marketing materials, advertising tear sheets, and license agreements
- Other tasks as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in related field (marketing, communications, business, etc.)
- Three years of relevant experience preferred (in marketing, advertising, art, museums, or social media recommended)
- Strong organizational skills
- Commitment to accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently, and in partnership with others
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a variety of audiences
- Project management experience a plus
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Google drive
- Experience with Facebook Business Manager a plus
- Experience using Contentstack or other CMS systems a plus
- Experience with Campaign Monitor or other email marketing systems a plus
- Knowledge of, interest in, or experience with online marketing and digital media ecosystem strongly preferred
- Agency or in-house marketing experience strongly preferred
- Interest in art and culture strongly preferred
- Bilingual or Spanish speaker preferred
- Ability to write original content and experience writing for the web preferred
