Job description
This is an entry-level part-time position in our Wausau facility. United Mailing Services (U.M.S.) picks up and presorts mainly letter-size mail before it is presented to the U.S.P.S. We process first-class mail as well as project-driven direct mailings. We are part of a corporate network of 5 U.M.S. Bureaus throughout Wisconsin that sorts 2 million pieces of mail each day.This job requires the ability to work productively in different departments. The knowledge of how to process the mail within that department and when applicable, the knowledge of specific USPS mail preparation requirements including; accurately sweep mail into corresponding bins when working on the sorting equipment, distribute full mail trays/tubs to appropriate locations on the shop floor, package mail and label trays/tubs correctly for distribution to the USPS, and Load/unload mail trays/tubs from USPS All-Purpose Carriers/pallets.
Hours: Monday through Friday 3:00PM-7:30PM
Salary: $13.00-$14.00/hour
