Set up and operate a variety of conventional machinery to produce precision parts and tooling. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair conventional machinery or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures.

Pay at $27.51 per hour and we offer Company-paid medical insurance, life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability coverage, a Company-matched 401(K) plan, and ten (10) paid holidays. We offer employee-paid dental insurance. Employees are eligible for forty (40) hours vacation days after six (6) months of continuous employment.

All candidates offered employment must submit to a drug screen, physical, and background check.

•Follow all processes and procedures associated with the Tyler Union Safety Management Program. Advise management of any deviations from this program.
•Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipers.
•Machine parts to specifications, using conventional machinery, such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and band saws.
•Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized conventional machinery used to perform machining operations.
•Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
•Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers.
•Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
•Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.
•Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
•Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency.
•Check work pieces to ensure they are properly lubricated or cooled.
•Diagnose conventional machinery malfunctions to determine need for adjustments or repairs.
•Must keep and maintain a neat and orderly workstation.
