Overview
ATS Automation Global Services is seeking a bright, ambitious Electrical Assembler who enjoys traveling, new experiences, and learning opportunities. This role is incredibly important, providing value added services to our customers through the delivery of technical support, installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment in the Transportation, Life Sciences, and Consumer Products industries.
Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, sketches, and specifications for laying out electrical installations.
• Plan the assembly and the installation of components and control devices and coordinate work with other assembly classifications.
• Safely and efficiently use hand and power tools to drill and tap holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
• Cut, strip, bend, form wire cable, conduit, and plastic protective tubing to connect circuits and sub-assemblies.
• Solder connectors and crimp connectors to wire ends.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance on plant machinery and buildings.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
• Perform field service and travel up to 50%.
• Comply with ATS Code of Business Conduct Policies and Procedures.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical work, with machine building experience.
• 1+ years of experience in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and system controls.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

• Wixom, MI 48393: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
