Little Angels PPEC (Pediatric Medical Daycare) has an immediate need for Licensed Practical Nurse, in our Orlando and Longwood locations on a part-time / full-time basis.

This position involves direct patient care and interaction with with child's therapist and families.

• Must hold and maintain a current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

• Provide pediatric nursing care, defined as being responsible for the care of acutely ill or chronically ill children

• Provide Nursing interventions; educational services to increase the parent’s or guardian’s confidence and competence in caring for the child with special needs; assistance to facilitate coping with the effects of chronic illness on the child and family and support effective relationships among siblings and the ill child; interventions to foster normal development and psychosocial adaptation.

• Work in a collaborative relationship with the interdisciplinary health team including therapies and other staff team members.

• Maintain accurate and complete charting of patients including updating medications, feeding changes including formula or rate, communication with parents about current medical appointments and goals, obtain medical records or obtain orders if needed.

Shifts: 10 and 12 hours

Requirements:

• Current Florida LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license
• Current CPR

Hours:

Center Hours: Monday - Friday between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm.
