Empower AI: As the Logistics Specialist (Warehouse) Lead, you will be a key member of the Empower AI team supporting the United States Army Reserve (USAR) Information Technology Services contract. The USAR plays a critical role in defending our nation, with the mission to provide trained, equipped, and ready Soldiers and cohesive units to meet the global requirements across the full spectrum of operations. The Army Reserve is a key element in the Army multicomponent unit force, training with Active and National Guard units to ensure all three components work as a fully integrated team. The United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) G6 owns and operates Army Reserve Network (ARNet) and Secure Army Reserve Network (SARNet) to provide continuous secure and nonsecure data, voice, and video transport, data center services, hosted applications, file services, collaboration tools, cybersecurity, remote access, continuity of operations, and end user customer service across the Army Reserve enterprise. These services are provided to 65,000 users with network accounts at approximately 700 locations, primarily in the continental United States with a few in Puerto Rico, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific region. Through the Information Technology Services contract, Empower AI will provide reliable secure network capabilities, enhanced operational effectiveness, and reduced capital and operations costs through operational consolidation. Empower AI will work collaboratively with current and future Army Reserve contractors, service providers, and vendor partners to focus on USAR’s success, and maintain continuous delivery and management of consistent data, voice, video, collaboration and data center services, application hosting, file storage and retrieval, cybersecurity compliance, and disaster recovery/continuity of operations and maintenance to Army Reserve facilities.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and leadership to the Warehouse team.
- Provide logistics and warehouse services. Receive, store, and ship Government owned equipment and property from vendors.
- Assists in monitoring assigned department budget and risk management efforts directly supporting DoD Enterprise infrastructure and infostructure IT goals and projects.
- Tasks associated with receiving, distributing, or shipping of materials.
- Must possess strategic planning skills and have a thorough understanding of internal & external compliance policies.
- Accurately completes paperwork or system transactions applicable to function, such as documentation of material movement (i.e., Receipt, Shop Order, and Packing Lists).
- Ability to organize, plan & schedule work.
- Provide logistics and warehouse services at Government facility at Fort Bragg, NC., recieve, store, and ship Government owned equipment and property from vendors, USARC G-6, and USAR facilities worldwide.
- Property Book Operations: Perform property book operations, conduct inventory, in/out process, store, and prepare for disposal all equipment from a variety of sources for G-6 IAW AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA Pam 710-2-1, DA Pam 710-2-2.
- Maintain automated records using GCSS-Army as the system of record for inventory and operations and to produce inventory records, inventory reports, and other storage reports for G-6.
- Complete inspections and inventories as scheduled by the Government. Coordinate property accountability activities with G6 Logistics Manager, USARC PBO, and RD PBOs as required to meet AR 710-2 requirements.
- Verify all equipment by vendor part number and serial number. All inventories will be completed the month scheduled and process all adjustments and corrections as a result of the inventory within 30 days. Inventory of active network equipment shall be performed by electronic validation using network tools such as Cisco Prime Infrastructure, ForeScout, and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Upon discovery of any inventory discrepancy, shall inform the immediate Contractor supervisor, G-6 Logistics Manager, and USARC PBO. Notify COR.
- Perform day to day operations to maintain property accountability.
- Manage, follow-up, and initiate actions on requests, lateral transfer directives, and turn in directives for USAR facilities. Contractor shall prepare and configure equipment to support operational requirements such as initial fielding, lifecycle replacement, warranty replacement, and equipment transfers. Contractor shall package or prepare equipment for shipments and complete all documents required.
- Property shall be prepared for disposal according to Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) requirements as outlined in AR 710-2. Disposal activities for information technology (IT) equipment must follow cybersecurity requirements.
- Provide report with a scanned copy of all receiving and shipping artifacts attached to PBO and NOC/SOC Chief by close of business daily.
- Personnel shall wear personal protective equipment, including reflective vests, safety shoes, safety glasses, and hard hats while in the storage areas of the warehouse. Comply with local/state/federal codes, regulations, and laws concerning workplace safety and wellbeing of warehouse personnel IAW information and regulatory guidance on https:www.osha.gov.

- Years of Experience/Degree: BA 7 - 12 years of experience
