BNY Mellon Treasury Services' (TS) business services the payments, liquidity management and trade financing needs of our clients in the US and internationally, assisting them in their efforts to optimize cash flow, ensure adequate liquidity and manage risk - all essential components to their success.

Liquidity Product Specialist, Liquidity and Account Solutions
BNY Mellon TS' Liquidity and Account Solutions team provide clients with various deposit, investment and liquidity products that help optimize operating cash, maintain adequate liquidity, maximize yield, and manage risk. Our innovative technology, combined with our marketplace expertise, can help our clients solve their most challenging liquidity problems.
The Liquidity Product Specialist will be responsible for managing liquidity balances and rate behaviors across the product suite and client portfolio, while leveraging our liquidity and account offerings to develop solutions with the objective of improving the quality of the portfolio, driving client adoption, growth, and revenue; as well as meeting customer objectives. This is a unique role as an intermediary between Global Markets, Treasury Services Sales and Treasury Services Product organizations. This role will provide clients/coverage partners product expertise in the entire Current Account and Liquidity Solutions product offering. This is a client facing, collaborative role and will report to the Liquidity Product Specialist Lead.
Responsibilities:
Identify and market solutions to solve customer needs both in partnership with coverage and directly with customers (Target/segmentation).
Drive commercial, profitable relationships with customers.
Develop relationships with broader coverage / distribution / markets partners across the firm.
Become familiar with other TS products/services (e.g., payments, trade, digital, client advisory teams, markets) to help support cross-selling opportunities, including how these can complement liquidity solutions.
Partner with product managers, sales, technology, onboarding, client services, and other key stakeholders to ensure products and solutions are commercially ready for clients.
Create and deliver thought leadership articles and presentations based on client engagements, practitioner experience in the industry leveraging partnerships with client advisory and product management teams to drive internal/external commercialization.
Leverage analytics, competitive intelligence, client advisory, sales, industry insights to build client centric messages and stories which drive forward our multi product solutions.
Support Balance sheet initiatives.
Participate at client, industry, and media events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
5+years of total work experience preferred.
Experience in liquidity management and money market instruments, product management, operations, client management preferred.
MBA or CFA preferred.

The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess:
Fundamental understanding of client's liquidity, working capital, and treasury technology & operational needs.
Deep knowledge of liquidity management and short-term investments, and a good working knowledge treasury/cash management business, balance sheet, revenue drivers and products.
Ability to think strategically and look at new ways to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Excellent communication and presentation skills - verbal, visual, and written - for internal and external audiences.
Team player, able to engage with individuals of all levels and gain support from colleagues even when they do not report directly to you.
BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $96,000 and $212,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
