This is a great opportunity for a driven Lead Diesel Mechanic with a "can do" attitude. This person will be responsible to evaluate, prioritize and delegate work amongst the mechanics and washer/fuelers.

Shifts available:

• 1st
• 2nd
• 3rd

Pick your days off (Must work on Sat and Sun)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions
• Review work orders and discuss work with service manager
• Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined
• Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience
• Communicate with driver to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems.
• Complies with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum three years recent medium/heavy diesel maintenance experience
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas.
• Must have own hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• CDL license required
• Good driving record and proven work history
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold temperatures
