Seeking: Registered Nurse (RN) to assist full time at the Oregon Youth Authority to provide medical care to youth juveniles in Tillamook, OR.
Position Details:
- Hours: Day-shift/Swing-shift, 4/10s.
- Hiring Immediately
- Paid Orientations & Facility Trainings
Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the detention unit
- Must be able to work in a correctional facility environment and treat youth with respect
- Effectively document wellness checks and all forms of patient care
- Accurate and efficient triage & clinical skills
- Experience with EPIC or other EMR systems highly valued and required
Licensure/Education:
- 3 years (minimum) Required as a licensed Registered Nurse
- Urgent care, emergency, and corrections experience will be highly valued
- Experience with pediatric/youth will be highly valued
- BSN preferred, not required
- Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse License
Employment Qualifications:
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability to obtain current Tuberculosis Test and Drug Screen prior to employment
- Reliable transportation to all scheduled shifts
