Tool and Parts Attendant, JBSA Texas

Salary: $16.27 Hourly
Contractor employees shall receive, store, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices, in an industrial establishment. Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers, searches for lost or misplaced tools, prepares periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed, unpacks and stores new equipment; visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors; may coat tools with grease or other preservative, using a brush or spray gun, and may attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using electric marking tool. May be required to drive a forklift.
Qualifications
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Must be able to speak, read and write and understand English.
Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and / or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned task.
Must past pre-employment background check.
Must past pre-employment and post-employment drug testing.
Must be able to attain and maintain a Defense Biometric Identification System Card (DBIDS).
Must be able to attain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance.

Active Secret Clearance.
