We are currently seeking qualified Interim Chief Nursing Officer to provide temporary coverage at various hospitals throughout the United States.
Our diversified healthcare delivery network spans 29 states and includes more than 65 community hospital campuses, more than 30 rehabilitation and behavioral health hospitals, and more than 170 additional sites of care across the healthcare continuum, such as acute rehabilitation units, outpatient centers and post-acute care facilities.
The Interim Chief Nursing Officer has ultimate administrative responsibility for nursing standards and practice regardless of the practice area or reporting relationship of the nurse. Our Interim CNO’s will direct hospital nursing activities and ensure that nursing standards, practices, policies, and procedures are in accordance with all applicable laws, regulatory and accreditation requirements. They collaborate with hospital leaders to provide patient care and services, including availability of sufficient, qualified nursing staff. The CNO is responsible for providing direction for all areas of Nursing, including but not limited to: developing budgets, developing overall nursing plan and patient care policies, and ensuring adequate hospital coverage and quality care.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Master’s Degree requires (MSN or MHA)
Experience
Licensed Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3-5 years of CNO experience in an investor-owned healthcare organization.
As an Interim CNO, you must be available for travel up to 100%. Your travel, lodging, and business expenses are covered by LifePoint Health.
