The Law Office of Vanessa Kosky is looking to bring on an experienced immigration paralegal. This paralegal, under the direction of the attorney, will perform a variety of duties. Candidates should be self-starters, highly organized, and team players.

Immigration Paralegal Responsibilities

• Reporting to and collaborating with the firm’s attorney
• Managing the caseload from intake through processing and filing.
• Preparing applications for adjustment of status
• Processing and filing immigrant visa petitions.
• Organizing petition packets for review and filing.
• Gathering application and petition information from clients and external parties.
• Updating clients of the progress of their cases.
• Maintaining hard copy files and entering data
• Responding to immigration inquiries in a timely manner and adhering to submission details.

Immigration Paralegal Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience as an immigration paralegal dealing with USCIS
• Proven ability to handle confidential information, personal integrity, excellent judgment, and high ethical standards.
• Attentive to time-sensitive deadlines and workflow demands.
• Demonstrated strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to dive into complex, ambiguous situations and bring them to an effective resolution

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8 hour shift)
