Sealy Dental Center, located in Sealy, Texas, is seeking a Hygiene Coordinator for a full-time opportunity in our family dental practice. The Hygiene Coordinators job will be a full-time schedule working Monday-Friday full time and support our patient-centric approach with various duties to achieve a pleasant hygiene experience.

The Hygiene Coordinator is in charge of hygiene-related duties, such as filling the hygiene schedule, promoting good hygiene to patients, and effectively communicating oral hygiene benefits, using spreadsheets, such as Microsoft Excel, to track necessary data efficiently. Working with marketing to help promote hygiene and help with answering phones and other front office duties.

Duties include:

• Answering phones and scheduling patients for hygiene appointments
• Ensure the hygiene schedule is maximized for optimal patient experience
• Filling the hygienist's schedules when cancellations occur
• Effectively communicate with the team and actively participate in morning huddles and team meetings
• Memorize and use scripts over the phone and in person
• Send out a patient confirmation via text and over the phone
• Other tasks and duties assigned by practice leadership

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills
• Phone etiquette
• One or more years in a dental office setting
• Ability to learn new technology and is comfortable with email and patient communication
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
• Polished presentation in person and over the phone

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
