The HR Specialist will perform a variety of human resource functions. Primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of electronic and physical employee data
- Management of time off and leave programs
- Responds to unemployment claims
- Completes wage garnishment and employment verification requests
- Administers uniform and incentive programs
- Provides payroll processing coverage when needed
- Assists with HR projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of applicable federal and state laws
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, decision making, and analytical skills
- Takes pride in producing quality work and has a desire to maintain accuracy and consistency by applying excellent attention to detail
- Practices appropriate discretion
- Possesses strong communication skills and is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
- Takes initiative, brings forth ideas for improvement, acts in a timely manner, and is able to prioritize work
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Remains flexible with changing priorities and increasing demands
- Exhibits strong work ethic and technical ability
Education/Experience:
- Minimum high school diploma and 3-5 years of related experience required
- Familiarity with Paylocity & Dynamics 365 preferred
