The HR Specialist will perform a variety of human resource functions. Primary duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintenance of electronic and physical employee data
• Management of time off and leave programs
• Responds to unemployment claims
• Completes wage garnishment and employment verification requests
• Administers uniform and incentive programs
• Provides payroll processing coverage when needed
• Assists with HR projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of applicable federal and state laws
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, decision making, and analytical skills
• Takes pride in producing quality work and has a desire to maintain accuracy and consistency by applying excellent attention to detail
• Practices appropriate discretion
• Possesses strong communication skills and is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
• Takes initiative, brings forth ideas for improvement, acts in a timely manner, and is able to prioritize work
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Remains flexible with changing priorities and increasing demands
• Exhibits strong work ethic and technical ability

Education/Experience:

• Minimum high school diploma and 3-5 years of related experience required
• Familiarity with Paylocity & Dynamics 365 preferred
