We are seeking full-time Housekeepers for our Assisted Living Facility & Residential Homes in Suffolk, VA:
General duties and Responsibilities* for Housekeeper:*

• Sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, and dust/polish furniture in common areas on a daily basis. Clean bathrooms and kitchen on a daily basis.
• Submit completed requisition for cleaning supplies through the Program Manager. Assist in safety and sanitation inspections. Launder resident clothing, common-use items, and linens. Provide emergency transportation services.
• Assist with purchasing, storage, and set-aside of food supplies. Utilize positive behavior management techniques and demonstrate role model behaviors to motivate consumers. Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of consumers by complying with OSHA regulations. Safeguard and maintain the civil rights of the consumer. Comply with all Human Rights Regulations.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete all required in-service trainings. Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills for Housekeeper:

• High School diploma or GED Certificate;
• Six Months relative work experience;
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record at the time of employment and continuously, thereafter.
