A private residence in New York, NY is seeking a part-time, live-out experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning living/sleeping areas. This includes dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping in all rooms, washing bed linens and towels and making the beds.
• Laundry (both regular and delicate) and ironing when needed.
• Cleaning the bathrooms, including mirrors, sanitizing toilets, showers and baths, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning the kitchen, including wiping down appliances, counters, sinks and cabinet doors, and occasional deep cleaning of oven, refrigerator, etc., emptying the dishwasher and/or washing and drying dishes and putting them away.
• Occasional light meal prep and runs to the grocery or dry cleaners.
• General tidying of the rooms. This includes putting away items, decluttering and light organizing.
• Occasional travel packing/unpacking
• Maintaining household organization (closets, pantries, cabinets, drawers, etc.)
• Care for fine furniture; polishing surfaces when needed
• Assisting with special dinners and events (nights and weekends) when needed.
• Providing excellent service to family members & guests

Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years related work experience in a private residence.

· Utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion.

· Excellent references from current and previous employers.

· Ability to work independently while reporting to household manager.

· Ability to take direction & to go above and beyond with any task.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English is required)

· Professional, polished and poised at all times.

· Hands-on with a positive attitude, energetic, strong work ethic and attention to detail.

· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

· Flexibility in schedule with availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

· Valid United States work authorization.

Salary: $30- $35 per hour depending on experience
