Homeless Outreach Counselor and Therapist - Summary
NorthKey Community Care is seeking a Homeless Outreach Counselor and Therapist to provide quality and flexible behavioral health and mental health services to individuals experiencing homelessness. This position will be based in Covington, KY but will be responsible for providing services to homeless individuals in the 8 county Northern Kentucky region. This job is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000!

Homeless Outreach Counselor and Therapist - Qualifications
- Master's degree or above in a clinical field of study related to behavioral health.
- Eligibility for Kentucky independent or non-independent license is required.
- Must have or be eligible for one of the following Kentucky licenses: LCSW, CSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, MFT, LPAT, LPATA, LCADC, LCADCA, PhD, or PsyD.
- Experience working with adults with severe mental illness and/or homelessness is preferred.
- May 2022 and December 2022 graduates encouraged to apply.
Homeless Outreach Counselor Therapist - Responsibilities
- Perform clinical psychosocial evaluations in a timely manner, through in-office, telehealth, or telephone visits. Clinical services may also be provided at community-based locations, including schools, homeless shelters, and home-based services when appropriate.
- Complete diagnostic evaluations and recommendations.
- Provide ongoing individual and family behavioral health therapy services by utilizing the most appropriate evidence-based practice(s) to address clients' symptoms.
- Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans for clients based upon clients' areas of need, diagnoses, and symptoms.
- Maintain multi-disciplinary working relationships with clinicians and other related professionals in the community. This will include making appropriate referrals, sharing of clinical information within HIPAA guidelines, and providing clinically appropriate multi-disciplinary interventions and collaborations.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation, prepare and complete clinic progress notes, assessments, reports, schedules, and other material required as a function of the position.
- Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth, especially to maintain license, certification, or identified program performance skills.
- Participate with the Homeless Services Program team meeting and attend other staff meetings as required.
- Ensure professional license is current at all times.
- Participate in planned supervision and case consultation conferences as necessary.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
