Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced Meat Cutter to work in a full service active meat department The successful candidate for this position will be well versed in the processing of meat products and four other proteins . Duties will include preparing meat for packaging, cutting and trimming steaks, pork , fish as well as maintaining a sanitary work area. This is a seven day a week operation that produces $80,000 worth of product on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sanitation of equipment.
- Know how to prevent contamination from cross-contamination and proper cooling temperatures.
- Make sure you are able to control the temperature of meat.
- Be able to cut meat in a way that ensures uniform thicknesses.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $32.65 per hour
