FRONT DESK ATTENDANT
Job Summary: To greet members, book courts and lessons, collect appropriate fees, answer incoming calls, assist management and staff with administrative needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Greet members and guests as they enter or exit the club.
· Register associates and guests and collect applicable fees
· Assist with members sales by capturing leads
· Inform membership department of all inquiries concerning potential membership
· Answers incoming telephone calls and transfer them to the appropriate party
· Schedule court reservations, private lessons
· Maintain a safe, clean and secure work environment (includes lobby area, front desk, stairs – ensure caution signs are positioned in a conspicuous place when floor is wet)
· Develop and maintain cooperative work relationships with others
· Promote all club programs and special events
· Present a neat,well-groomed appearance at all times
· Complete daily reports and any special projects as assigned
· Attend department meetings
· Turn on TV’s Radios in Fitness center
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
· At least two years’ guest service experience highly preferred
· Knowledge of basic principles for providing customer service
· Developing constructive and cooperative work relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
WORK CONTEXT/ACTIVITIES:
· In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications set forth above, this position requires physical activity, including but not limited to:
o Lifting (up to 20 lbs), carrying, walking, stooping, bending, stretching,twisting and reaching using entire body
o Use of both fine and gross motor skills
o Sit and to stand for long periods of time
· Requires the employee to be pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
Schedule: Part-time - Monday and Wednesday 4pm -9pm, Tuesday and Thursday 11am-4pm
