What we are:

The Ralph S. Alberts Company, Inc. in Montoursville is looking for a full-time production worker to join our Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) team. We are a small, family-owned custom molding business operating with around 80 employees.

Overview:

In this primarily standing position, this individual is responsible for safely creating products with fiber reinforced plastic materials to support the medical and amusement park industry.

What you will do:

• Create FRP products by using various application methods such as vacuum infused resin, open mold application, or by hand.
• Utilize hand/power tools and hand mix chemicals
• Grinding, trimming, and finishing
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a respirator, safety glasses, Tyvek suit, etc.

You Might Have:

• Familiarity with hand tools
• Experience or knowledge with pneumatic grinders / saws
• Basic mathematics skills
• Experience with composites such as fiberglass, resins, gel coats, and catalyst
• Proven record of good attendance
• The ability to lift 50 pounds alone or with a partner
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work overtime

Schedule:

• This position offers a schedule of Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm with frequent mandatory overtime that may include extended hours and weekend availability.

A pre-employment physical and drug test is required; however, medical marijuana cards are accepted for most positions. Background checks are also performed on all applicants.

Vacation/sick time is offered after 90 days of employment. Competitive benefit package also offered after 90 days of employment. 401K enrollment after 1 year of service.
