The Warehouse Facility Supervisor ensures efficiency of daily warehouse services and assigned personnel. The incumbent will perform operations functions to include supervising and monitoring the activities of the maintenance tech and sanitation team. Our team is looking for a Cost conscience leader to collaborate with vendors and maintain our new warehouse facility.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises, instructs, and conducts regular training to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all OSHA and NDCP safety practices and guidelines.
• Provides supervision, counseling and coaching to Sanitation team and Maintenance tech warehouse employees to ensure compliance with operating standards and to assist with problems.
• Delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members
• Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces
• Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
• Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
• Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals
• Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.
• Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
• Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
• Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs.
• Responsible for ensuring employees in their respective functional areas have adequate training and tools necessary to meet defined job requirements.
• Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings, training sessions and seminars as required.
• Ensure that the cleanliness of the warehouse meets or exceeds FDA and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain accuracy of all data reported, consistently evolve existing reports and create new ones as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years previous supervisory experience or equivalent required
• 3 years warehousing or distribution experience required in food service preferred.
• Flexibility in work hours/days; ability to adapt to business needs but will primarily Tuesday Saturday AM shift. Flexibility required.
• Skilled trade such as HVAC commercial, Electric, Six Sigma lean practice is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required but college degree preferred.
• Strong background in problem solving, planning, prioritizing, and communication.
• Microsoft office (Outlook and Excel primarily)
