A Portsmouth, NH based sign shop seeks a creative, fun loving, capable, motivated and detail-oriented person to work as a sign designer.

Requested Qualifications:

– Minimum 3 years sign design experience

– Ability to develop a project from concept to manufacturing

– Strong feel for aesthetics and effective use of color, typography and visual space

– Previous experience working in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or construction environment a plus

– Current portfolio of artwork demonstrating proficiency and knowledge of graphic design skills

– Proficiency with vector-based files and Adobe Creative Suite programs appreciated

Job description:

The Designer works with our Sales staff to create signage from concept to finished product. Designers work closely with the Sales, Estimating, Production, and Installation Departments to create bold and effective signage designs for clients of all types and sizes. The position requires an independent work ethic and the ability to work well on a variety of projects in a timely manner.

We are a full-service sign company committed to providing the highest quality signage. Opportunity is also available to cross training into all aspects of sign creation. Job Type:

Full-time position with wages based on experience and qualifications. This position is a Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm job.
