United Christian Ministries of Jackson County, Inc. is 501(c)3 nonprofit agency in Sylva, NC. We provide a client-choice food pantry and financial assistance for county residents in need. We are customer-centric, fast-paced, rewarding and our goal is to alleviate food and housing insecurity in Jackson County, NC.

We're looking for an energetic, caring leader to take on the role of Executive Director with our nonprofit ministry. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising others, excellent computer skills, and be familiar with finance and budgeting. The seasoned professional we seek is also an exceptional communicator with the ability to manage paid staff as well as approximately 40 volunteers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations.
• Work with board of directors on projects and strategic initiatives.
• Manage the staffing of the food pantry and client service volunteers.
• Supervise and oversee programs, staff, and volunteers.
• Collaborate with other local agencies.
• Oversee operational procedures and budgeted expenses.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $31,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
