EVV Clerk

This shift is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and one Floating day through out the week

POSITION SUMMARY: Electronic Visit Verification Clerk responsibilities include but not limited to, managing all scheduling and staffing processes, including staff selection and maintaining client satisfaction. Monitors the Call Dashboard to ensure that all scheduled aides report to their assignment. Document and report as necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Makes all schedule changes and updates as necessary, and makes sure to cover all open cases. Answer all incoming phones calls. Tries as best as possible not to miss any incoming phone calls and places people on hold as necessary as calls come in. In the event that there is a call out, the clerk is required to contact the client, inform the client that someone else will service them for the day, and makes every effort to cover the case. Goal is to maximize visits. Monitors the Call Dashboard as according to agency policy, and documents in every visit each time an aide fails to call in or out for a visit.Notify client and Supervisor of any changes in service in a timely manner.Document all miss-visits with the appropriate reasons.Actualize all visits with the Manage Care Organization; AMG, BLU, and UHC.Communicate with the aides that they must clock in/out.

Work together with the Human Resource Department/Supervisor regarding aide evaluations.Work together as a team with the Finance Clerk and acts as a guide for payroll.Communicate with HR any aide who is unable or unavailable to work.Report all incidents and change in patient status to the Supervisor so an incident report can be completed.Transfer all clients’ complaints to the Supervisor if not able to resolve them.Assist with all agency job functions as needed due to absence and agency overflow.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Basic computer skills required.Must have the ability to write and document appropriately.Must have great phone and communication skills.Must have the ability to utilize basic computer software integral to agency operations after initial training period.Multi-tasking capability is a must.Must be able to carry a big responsibility.Must have knowledge of all policies and procedures related to coordination (given upon hire). Must be an active listener, have social perceptiveness, and be a critical thinker. Must be able to manage time and be a complex problem solver, needs to have the ability to monitor and assess performance.Must be able to negotiate.Must contain a pleasant attitude and patience at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $13.00 per hour
