PopStroke is hiring a talented Event Coordinator to join our Katy, TX team!

WHO WE ARE
PopStroke provides a best-in-class experience for all ages - with two 18-hole putting courses, full-service restaurant, bar, ice cream parlor, playground, and outdoor gaming. Our team focuses on providing our guests with fun, unique, outdoor entertainment.

$18/hr plus commissions

Job Summary: Assist guests with selecting and planning successful on-site private events. Facilitates all event planning functions and supports the operations and corporate teams.

Reports to: General Manager

Responsibilities:

• Drive the company’s mission by always representing our vision in every event
• Monitor internal email inboxes, web inquiries, and voicemails and respond to all event inquiries.
• Identify the guest’s requirements and expectations for each event.
• Fulfill sales and planning cycles bringing the inquiries through to contract and communication with on-site management team.
• Provide tours of the location and present all event options/packages to potential clients
• Collect deposits.
• Communicate directly with the guest throughout the event planning process to learn requirements and goals, coordinate specifications, and ensure all parties understand relevant information and details.
• Coordinate with on-site managers to ensure seamless event execution while delivering the highest quality of service.
• Provide event administrative support.
• Compile and maintain data and logs, create reports; add new material to file records or create new records as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years event or hospitality experience, preferably with sales responsibilities
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a dynamic environment
• Previous hospitality experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Products Suite
• Possess an outstanding attention to detail, strong communication skills and customer centric attitude
• An eagerness to learn, be creative and work in a growing environment
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Strong communications skills and customer-centric attitude
• Must be able to stand and walk for a long period of time, operate a computer and phone; may involve lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Problem-solving ability
• Good time-management and organizational skills

Headquartered in Jupiter, Florida, PopStroke has a dedicated team of experienced professionals in the food, beverage, and hospitality fields. PopStroke offers an expansive variety of craft beer, wine, ice cream, and food and infuses technology within the golf experience to create an interactive and competitive atmosphere for all participants. Unique to PopStroke is the PopStroke App and Jumbotron leaderboard. PopStroke currently has five facilities - Fort Myers, Florida, Port St. Lucie, Florida, Sarasota, Florida, Orlando, Florida, Katy/Houston, Texas, with significant expansion plans though out the United States. TGR Design with Tiger Woods’ involvement will be responsible for designing the putting courses at all future PopStroke locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
