Description:
The Emergency Department/Acute Care Technician (EDAT) is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). The EDAT works in close collaboration with an assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient care, is a valued member of the patient care team, and functions under the direction of the RN. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.36 - $21.27 per hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Licenses & Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Basic Life Support Certified Nursing Assistant Emergency Medical Technician Additional Qualifications: 1 year experience preferred. Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Certified Nursing Assistant (if hired in the BHSF ED prior to 2012); BLS required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (required for Paramedic and LPN) Minimum Required Experience:
