The Driver at E&R Industrial performs warehouse duties and functions to support inventory integrity, order processing – picking, packing, staging, and shipping in accordance to standard operating procedures and safe work practices, and general housekeeping to provide a safe and clean work environment. You will drive a 26ft box truck daily.

• Unload trailers using material handling equipment
• Stock merchandise in appropriate locations
• Comply with DOT regulations regarding the handling and shipping of Hazardous Material
• Select the most economical method of routing to maximize service and minimize freight costs.
• Provide customer service backup by picking will-call and counter orders when needed.
• Stage merchandise and completes necessary documents.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize multiple locations through the use of computerized scanning equipment and other inventory maintenance reports.

• 1 or more years of experience in related field and must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Experience Operating powered industrial equipment
• Experience operating computerized scanning equipment and PC- based programs
• A Class A with CDL
