POSITION SUMMARY

This position reports on site in Circleville, Ohio (remote or hybrid work may be available).

Oversee the personnel, policy, and procedures related to all matters of admissions for the online student population at Ohio Christian University. The person in this role will champion an environment of positive, excellent customer service and ensure that students receive the support needed to improve student satisfaction and lead to successful enrollment of students.

Position Title: Director of Online Admissions

Department: Enrollment

Location: This position reports to the Circleville Main Campus, M-F (remote or hybrid work may be available)

Months per year: 12

Hours per week: 40

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

FLSA Status: Exempt

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Any one position may not include all the listed duties, nor do all of the listed examples include all tasks which may be found in positions within this classification)

  • Provide daily supervision for the admissions advisors
  • Ensure the use of proper and productive admission processes
  • Assess and track monthly admissions statistics to ensure that goals are being met by the admissions team
  • Assist with the creation and revision of all communication sent to students
  • Ensure adherence to University policies and procedures for enrollment
  • Ensure that registration information is updated so students can be registered in timely manner
  • Assist with registration process (scheduling, registration forms and military paperwork)
  • Provide on-going training and professional development for the team
  • Create and maintain a culture of excellent customer service
  • Work with University offices to ensure AGS students are properly supported
  • Assist with the training of new staff members
  • Manage schedule/registration forms
  • Other duties as assigned

WORK RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Vice President of Enrollment

Supervises: Online Admissions Advisors

Internal OCU Relationships: Students, Advisors, Financial Aid, Registrar

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education, Training, and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Experience in Higher Education Admissions Office preferred
  • Skill and Ability to:

    • Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
    • Exceptional persistence and self-motivated work ethic
