We are seeking a Director Of Nursing with a passion for caring for the elderly and expertise in applying research-based knowledge to daily practice to join our growing team. The Director Of Nursing will be expected to attend client sites, collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, establish positive relationships with clients, their families and caregivers, and complete nursing assessments. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to enhance their leadership skills, improve their management abilities and obtain valuable job experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the nursing staff's contribution to quality patient care.
- Organize and lead orientation for new nurses.
- Coordinate care with doctors, patients, and family members.
- Ensure that patients are satisfied with nursing care.
- Maintain regular contact with patients' families and doctors.
- Provide expert psychiatric care to geriatric patients.

Currently, the facility is wearing surgical masks and only testing staff or residents that have signs/symptoms. Full PPE with N-95 is used for Covid-19 positive residents in Isolation. At this time there is no Covid-19 in the facility.
